Microblading VS Machine
Microblading vs ombre brows
There are so many different terms for treatments nowadays, its hard to know where to start or what to ask for. So I’m going to make it a little easier for you!
Semi-permanent makeup, permanent makeup, digital brows, spmu, powder brows, brow tattoo…… call it what you want, they all mean the same thing. That the ink has been implanted in to the skin GENTLY using a digital machine, not by hand.
I personally love the machine method as I find it a lot kinder to the skin and the ink will appear more evenly in the finished result. It is super hygienic (when done correctly) and i love the effect! A ‘powder brow’ is designed to create a nice soft wash of colour in your desired shape, meaning no more need for pencils!
Microblading, eyebrow embroidery, nanoblading…. the list goes on, but you guessed it….. they all do the same job!
This method has a far more ‘natural’ appearance in the fact that the result looks like hairs. This means it is almost undetectable and often isn’t a full enough result for younger clients or those wanting a full coverage brow.
Microblading is done using a hand tool and a ‘blade’ this blade is actually tiny fine needles in a row which create hair strokes. This method can be a little more tricky and should only be carried out by brow specialists to avoid damaging the skin.
